3 paragraph summary

•After today's reading I realized many things. The most obvious one is that my prediction was wrong. I think that the most important cause is that there was not enough sentences for the whole reading. We only got enough sentences for a paragraph. The reading consisted of more than 20 pages. So I don’t know how any of us were expected to guess right.
•The setting for today’s reading took place in Nuevo Laredo. This is a city next to the U.S. Mexican border. The main people involved were Enrique, Leti Limon, Gabi, Ermis, Lourdes, el tirindaro.
•Today’s reading starts off by some border patrol agents yelling at Enrique. They were telling him that he was on U.S. grounds to go back. They were yelling at him while he was only washing something in the river. When he went back they shouted thank you for returning to your country. He was staying at a campsite that safely guards him from police, gangsters, and border patrol. He meets several people and kids that share a similar story to his. The leader of the campsite is called el tirindaro. He is addicted to heroin and cocaine. Enrique hangs out with him a couple of times because with him he will be safe in the street. To get money Enrique washes cars. He is trying to save money to go to the U.S, but he only makes about three dollars a day. His source of food are some tacos that the workers give him outside of where he works., and some food cards that they give at a church.
